If pairs and pairs of unused shoes keep on piling up in your closet, it’s time to reexamine your shoe buying habits and see if you’re committing some of the most common mistakes women when buying footwear.

  1. Not getting the right size and width

No matter how some ladies try to deny it, we foot sizes tend to change when we age, especially after pregnancy. Brands and shoe styles also come in slightly different sizes so make sure to try on one size smaller or bigger. Shoes that are too tight or too big for your feet can make you uncomfortable.

  1. Thinking of style over comfort

I’m sure a lot of women who are reading this article are guilty of this fashion crime. Getting used to wearing sky high heels takes time and discipline that only few fashion savvy ladies, bloggers and models can actually survive a day while wearing an additional 5 to 7 inches height. Take note of your comfort level and buy wholesale shoes accordingly.
  1. Not trying on shoes the right way

To get the right pair of shoes, it’s always a good practice to wear it before buying it. Slip on your desired pair of shoes and try walking a few steps preferably on a non carpeted floor. Carpeted floors make walking more comfortable but you have to know how it would feel when you walk it on the streets.

  1. Not thinking of your body shape and silhouette

This is where the role of a girlfriend or a partner comes in. Oftentimes, we buy shoes depending on how it feels or looks at our feet but we forget to think of how it will affect our body silhouette. Certain wholesale shoes styles and materials can make you look slimmer, rounder or smaller. Choose the right pair by knowing your body type as well as the right shoe style that goes with it.

  1. Sticking with the same style or color

There is nothing wrong about having a lot of shoes but seeing it all in the same style and shade of color is entirely a different story. Make it easier to mix and match your clothes by getting different pairs of shoes in various shades of color and styles.

Are you guilty of these shoe shopping crimes? Avoid committing the same mistakes the next time you visit your nearby wholesale shoe store.
