Signs That Your Shoe Store Needs a Makeover

If you’re going to different shopping malls, it’s not hard to find a shoe store that looks the same since it celebrated its opening day ages ago. The shelf are still on the same spot, the window displays look untouched and the counter, although somehow clean, looks like a little old. Not to mention the walls are in the same colors as before and looked like they can definitely use some repainting.

On a lighter note, some business can survive years of looking and doing same thing day in and day out, years after years. But if your store has anything to do with fashion, it is important that your store can also adapt to the ever changing trends of this industry. This includes doing a makeover in your store every one in a while.

Look at your store. Do you think your store needs some makeover? Here are five signs that your store space deserves a new look.

Low Sales

This is the number one indicator that your business needs a makeover. Although low sales can not only be attributed with store design, it is unmistakably one of the important factors of generating sales. Check your inventory, customer service, advertising and location and see what else can contribute to the low sales of affordable shoes in your area.

Your Costumers are Bored

Observe everyone coming inside your store, do they look enthusiastic? Are they excited to see your latest collection? Or do they looked bored and only spend half a minute before they realize they have to go somewhere else? Maybe you can do something to change it soon.

Your Employees are Unmotivated

No matter how hard you push everyone to work hard to sell wholesale women’s shoes and entertain customers it still won’t help if you can’t pinpoint why they are feeling unenthusiastic about work. When you start noticing that everybody is feeling half hearted and lack the passion you need for your business, you can call their suggestion on what you can do to make matters improve. Sometimes, a makeover doesn’t just mean physical change but it can go down to policies and practices within your store.

Your Store is Outdated

Look at the stores around you. Have they already contacted their interior designers and contractors to do the necessary change in their units? If you think everybody is changing and your store is being left behind, maybe it’s time to put the make over on top of your to do list.

Makeover doesn’t need to be grand. You can start the makeover with your window display, or the shoe racks or counter. Purchase new items, and put out the old ones. And who knows, you might even be surprised by the effect it has to your sales and to the people around you.
